settings.

This section describes the various

menu items. The main menu looks

# General Guidelines to Menu Access and Settings

1. Press

3. Press the number con'esponding to the menu item that

you want to select. Then the submenu list will appear

on the screen.

4. Press the appropriate number key to select the submenu

you want to access

5. Select preferred settings, using the and (rH^keys.

# Menu Item Descriptions

Menu 1 System

Menu 1 1 System Selection

This feature allows you to select

system band A or B depending on

w'hich your phone operates. In each

cellular service area, there are

usually two service providers referred to as A side and

B side carrier respectively. Your service provider w'ill

inform you of which system you should use. This is

your home system. The roaming icon indicates that you

are using the phone out of your home area.

Setting the System

1. Press (^iiN^ , then press Cj3 ■

2. Select preferred setting, using and (

H) keys.

A or B only means that your phone will operate

only on system band A or B. A then B(B then A)

means that the phone will attempt to make a call to

system Afsystem B) before trying to make a call to

system B(system A). Home only means that the

phone will operates only on your home system,

(your home system is displayed on the screen.)

Standard means that the phone will attempt to make

a call to home .system before trying non-home

system.
