SECURITY SYSTEM

PROTECTION ZONES

Your security system can use up to six ditferent monitoring devices simuitaneousiy to protect your vehicie.

These devices are connected to the system on different inputs caiied protection zones.

One of these zones can send an audibie warning (7 chirps), whiie the other five generate an aiarm

condition if system is armed.

FUNCTIONS

Pre-shock

(more than 3 times within 3 min.)

Siren chirps (7 times)

Doors

Siren ”ON” for 30 or 60 second period, which can be repeated

Hood

up to 4 times depending on initiai programming and whether

Additionai sensor

vioiated zone is corrected or not.

Shock sensor

Each period is separated by a 5 second pause.

Ignition (key)

(45 seconds for ”Door” zone).

DETERRENTS

ACTIVE

When one of the monitoring devices detects a vioiation, system reacts by activating the foiiowing

deterrents, depending on which is connected.

System can activate up to four deterrents simuitaneousiy:

siren

,

parking lights

,

dome light

and/or

horn

.

PREVENTIVE

Indicator light

shows different aiarm conditions (see "ZONE CODES” on page 12).

It can aiso act as a deterrent if instaiied in a piace visibie from outside vehicie.

ALARM MODES

WARNING

Warning signai is 7 siren chirps.

If a two-ievei shock sensor is connected to system, warning sounds every time vehicie is subjected to a

iight shock when the aiarm is armed.

PRE-ALARM

If you set off aiarm by accident and do not want to aiarm or disturb the whoie neighborhood, ”pre-aiarm”

mode cuts in three seconds before aiarm condition to give you time to disarm system.

In this mode, parking iights, siren and dome iight go on and off intermittentiy for three seconds.

ALARM CONDITION

When system is in aiarm condition, it activates the various deterrents connected to the aiarm moduie.

Aiarm condition remains active for 30 or 60 seconds depending on initiai programming, then system

pauses for five seconds (45 seconds for "Door” zone).

During this pause, it checks the protection zones again and restarts aiarm cycie if a zone is stiii in vioiation.

This cycie can be repeated up to four times. If situation that caused the vioiation is corrected in mid-cycie,

aiarm stops at end of current cycie.
