(C) Connect to Headset

®

T3 is designed to pair with any series of Accutone Telephone Headset,
TM363VT is shown above. Make sure the (QD) Quick Disconnectors
are firmly connected as shown. Then, connect the RJ-9 Modular Jack of
the headset to the (7) Telephone Headset Jack of the T3 Telephone.

(B) Connect to Wall Jack

Use the RJ-11 Modular Patch Cable provided to connect the T3 headset
telephone to any standard Telephone Wall Jack via the (13) Line-In Jack
as illustrated.

(D) Testing Connection

Test your T3 Telephone’s setup by making a phone call to someone. Put
on your headset and make sure it’s connected properly as illustrated in
the previous section. Please make sure you wait 10 seconds after you
plug in your telephone before making your first call.

to turn on the device and get
a line.

You should be able to hear a dial-
tone and the (7) Online LED-
Indicator
should light up amber.

Make a call to make sure both
incoming and outgoing sounds are
normal.

(E) Initial Troubleshooting

If you do not see the online LED-indicator lighting up after you press the
answer key, make sure the other end of the modular cable has been
connected to a wall jack. Make sure the telephone network is direct
PSTN or ask your system solution provider if your PaBx system supports
T3.

If the LED-indicator lights up, but there’s not sound coming in or going
out of the headset, make sure you are using a standard Accutone
headset, not an alternative brand, as the settings are different across
brands. Also make sure the QD (quick disconnector) are firmly
connected.
