> Before operating for the first time, fully charge the lamp.

Automotive charging plug: 12 V-24 V DC (max. 2 A).
note: Make certain that the cigarette lighter also remains volt-carrying when the ignition key is removed.
Should this not be the case, then the charging lead should be connected through a 3 A fuse directly to the
vehicle battery!
The charging status is indicated by a 3 colour LED:
> LED lights ORANGE: Battery is in pre-charge mode
> LED lights RED: Battery is fast charging
> LED lights GREEN: Battery is trickle charging
> LED flashes RED-GREEN: The condition of the battery is under test. (This test can last up to five minutes. If the
LED display has not changed to ORANGE after 5 minutes then the rechargeable battery is probably defective).
> To preserve the charge, the lamp should always be parked in the wall bracket when it is not being used.
Self-discharge and the related reduction of the capacity of the storage battery is avoided in this way. The portable
search light is equipped with an automatic voltage charge monitor Ô permanent charge is possible!
operAting tHe portAbLe SeArcH LigHt:
Press operation selection control push button 1 x: The main lamp is switched on
Press operation selection control push button 2 x: Energy saving lamp (4 LED) is switched on
Press operation selection control push button 3 x: The main portable search light is switched off
The energy saving lamp (LED) is automatically activated when the filament of the main lamp break and before
the deep discharge protection is activated.
One can manually switch over to the energy saving lamp (4 LED) before the final discharge voltage is reached
(remaining light duration > 2 h).
The portable search light switches itself off as soon as the final discharge voltage is reached.
