LED red ”Power“ (1): Steady light indicates that the charger is connected to input power and is ready for use.
LED green “Charge“ (2): Flashing light indicates fast charging of the connected battery. After max. 10 seconds the audible
indicator sounds a long tone to signify correct connection.
A steady green light indicates the end of charging when the battery is fully charged. Additionally there are 3 short tones from
the audible indicator.
LED yellow “3.7 V” (3): Shows that a Li-ion battery pack with 3.7V (3.6 V) is connected.
LED yellow “7.4 V” (4): Shows that a Li-ion battery pack with 7.4V (7.2 V) is connected.
Both yellow LEDs (3.7V and 7.4V) will be on when NiCd or NiMH rechargeable cells are being charged (adaptor plate for cylindrical
cells fitted to the base unit)
If the red “Power“ LED and the green “Charge“ LED flash at the same time, the battery is defective and cannot be recharged.
Release button (5): By pressing the release button the adaptor plate can be removed.

attentiOn

Only use the universal adaptor plate (B) to charge listed Li-Ion battery packs. Do not attempt to charge NiCd or NiMH battery
packs with this universal adaptor plate due to danger of explosion. Only use the adaptor plate for cylindrical cells (C) to
charge NiCd or NiMH rechargeable batteries. Do not recharge Alkaline; Lithium; or other primary (non-rechargeable) batteries.
Do not attempt to charge Li-ion battery packs or similar with this cylindrical cell adaptor plate due to danger of explosion

saFety instructiOns

Please read the operating instructions carefully before using the charger; Do not attempt to open the charger; Keep the charger
in a dry place (indoor or in-car use only); In order to avoid the risk of fire and/or electric shock, the charger must be protected

the charging station. The red power indicator will be lit. When using in the car, connect the DC adaptor to the cigarette lighter
socket and the DC output plug to the charging station. Ensure that the supply to the cigarette lighter socket is on. Some cars
require the ignition to be switched on.

universal aDaptOr plate FOr li-iOn battery packs (3.6 - 7.4 v):

Li-Ion battery packs may be connected directly to the base unit (see figure A) of the charger or with the Universal adaptor plate
(see figure B) depending on the type of battery pack. Please see the comparison list.
Insert the selected battery adaptor plate into the guide rails at the top of the charging station as shown in figure B, and push
it towards the charger until it clicks into place. Check the battery adaptor plate fits securely in place, then connect the battery
pack to be charged to the plate. Make sure the polarity of the battery pack matches the polarity on the contact pins of the
adaptor plate. Since the adaptor plates are designed for many different types of Li-Ion battery pack, please pay attention to
the printing on the plates.

cHarging OF li-iOn battery packs:

When connecting the battery packs make sure that the contacts of the battery and adaptor plate interlock correctly. Do not use
force to push the battery pack into place.
Once the battery pack is connected properly, the charging process begins and the green “Charge“ LED will flash and the audible
indicator sounds. After approximately 10 seconds, the corresponding yellow LED indicator lights to indicate the voltage of the
