PCLTA-10, PCLTA-20, and PCC-10 Adapter Installation

The PCLTA-10, PCLTA-20, and PCC-10 installation software installs the files

required by the Windows XP, Windows 2000, Windows NT 4.0, Windows Me, or

Windows 98 operating systems to recognize the PCLTA-10, PCLTA-20, and PCC-
10 adapters. Therefore, installation of the software must precede insertion of

the adapter into a PC ISA (PCLTA-10), PCI (PCLTA-20), or PCMCIA PC Card

(PCC-10) slot.

If you are installing a PCLTA-10 or PCLTA-20, once the software has been

installed, you must shut down the PC, install the appropriate hardware as
described in Hardware Installation Procedure, later in this chapter, and re-start.

If you are installing a PCC-10, you can install the hardware without shutting

down the PC; however, the computer must be rebooted between the installation

of the driver software and the hardware. Then you must load the PCL10VNI

(PCLTA-10 and PCLTA-20) or PCC10VNI (PCC-10) application into the

hardware and run a diagnostic to ensure it is communicating correctly as
described in PCLTA-10, PCLTA-20, and PCC-10 Configuration Procedure.
