RECyCLING
This item bears the selective sorting symbol for waste
electronic and electrical equipment (WEEE). This means
that the product must be handled pursuant to European
Directive 2002/96/EC in order to be recycled or
dismantled to minimize it’s impact on the environment.
For further information please contact your local or regional
Authorities. Electronic products not included in the selective sorting
process are potentially dangerous for the environment and human
health due to the presence of hazardous substances.
GUARANTEE
This product is guaranteed for defects in material or workmanship
for a period of 2 years from date of purchase. The guarantee is valid
with proof of purchase only. The guarantee is limited to repair or
replacement of the product only and does not cover consequential
loss or damage of or to animate or inanimate objects. The warranty
does not cover wear and tear parts. The warranty also does not
cover a product which has not been regularly and correctly cleaned
and maintained. This guarantee is valid only under normal operating
conditions for which the product is intended. It excludes any damage
caused by unreasonable use, improper installation, negligence,
tampering, or abuse of the product. For guarantee service contact
your local pet retailer or write to the representative in your country.
This guarantee does not affect your statutory rights.
SERvICE
If you have any problem or question about the operation of this
product please refer to your instruction book or trouble shooting
guide (supplied with product) in the first instance. Most problems
can be resolved with cleaning or maintenance. If you cannot resolve
the matter please contact your Exo Terra Specialist Retailer who can
usually resolve the matter in store. In the unlikely event they cannot,
and the product is proven to have a fault, please return the unit with
a valid proof of purchase to the retailer for a replacement under the

MESURES DE SÉCURITÉ IMPORTANTES
Prière de lire et de comprendre les directives suivantes avant
d’installer la lampe Wire Light Exo Terra ® .
Ce dispositif d’éclairage NE DOIT PAS être utilisé dans un aquarium.
1. Ne pas immerger le cordon d’alimentation, la fiche ou la lampe
dans l’eau ni dans un autre liquide.
2. Ne pas faire fonctionner un appareil dont la fiche ou le cordon
est endommagé.
3. Ne pas essayer de réparer la lampe soi-même. Si elle est
endommagée, la retourner à un service de réparations autorisé
ou la jeter.
4. Ne pas débrancher la lampe en tirant sur le cordon
d’alimentation. Pour la débrancher, prendre la fiche entre les
doigts et non le cordon d’alimentation.
5. Ne pas manipuler la fiche ni la lampe avec les mains mouillées.
6. ATTENTION : Surfaces chaudes. Éviter le contact avec la lampe
pendant qu’elle fonctionne.
7. ATTENTION : Garder la lampe loin des rideaux et d’autres objets
inflammables quand elle fonctionne.
8. S’assurer que la lampe Wire Light est solidement fixée au cadre
supérieur du terrarium.
9. Pour usage domestique et à l’intérieur seulement. Pour
utilisation dans les endroits secs seulement.
10. Ne pas l’employer dans un autre but que celui décrit dans ce
