Using the Coupler Clamp
Another direct means of energizing the conductor is with a coupler clamp. This
device can be used with the transmitter to apply the signal to the conductor, or
conductors when they are selectively energized at the transmitter location. When
it can be used, the coupler clamp is a very accurate means for tracing and identi-
