BINDING POSTS

OPERATION

BULLET/BANANA PLUGS

1. Turn the sleeves of the red and black binding output posts counterclockwise to expose the

wire hole.

2. Insert the device's positive wire (red) into the red binding post's wire hole, then tighten the

binding post's sleeve to secure the wire in place.

3. Insert the device's negative wire (black) into the black binding post's wire hole, then tighten

the binding post's sleeve to secure the wire in place.

1. Turn the red and black binding post sleeves clockwise until secure.

2. Insert the device's positive wire (red) into the end of the red binding post.

3. Insert the device's negative wire (black) into the end of the black binding post.

WARNING

Failure to follow these precautions may result in property damage or injury.

• Please exercise extreme caution when using this product and follow instructions as detailed

in this manual.

• Not intended for use by children under 14 years of age.

• If the product appears damaged in any way, immediately discontinue its use and unplug it

from the household current.

• Make sure to operate your ePowerBox in a dry, cool, well-ventilated area. Do not block the fan

intake and discharge openings on either side.

• To reduce the risk of damage to internal circuitry, be careful not to short the output terminals

during operation.

• Never plug or unplug devices when the ePowerBox is powered on.

WARNING

– To avoid damage to both the power supply and the device:

• Follow the correct polarity when connecting the power supply and the device(s).

• Do not let the ends of the positive and negative wires touch each other.

ONE YEAR LIMITED WARRANTY
For a period of one year from the date of purchase HITEC RCD USA, INC. shall REPAIR OR REPLACE, at their option,
defective equipment covered by this warranty. This warranty does not cover cosmetic damages and damages
due to acts of God, accident, misuse, abuse, negligence, improper installation, or damages caused by alterations
by unauthorized persons. This warranty only applies to the original purchaser of this product, who purchased and
used the product in the United States of America, Canada and Mexico.

THIS WARRANTY IS IN LIEU OF ANY AND ALL OTHER WARRANTIES, WHETHER FOR MERCHANTABILITY OR FITNESS
FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, WHETHER EXPRESS OR IMPLIED. REPAIR OR REPLACEMENT AS PROVIDED UNDER
THIS WARRANTY IS THE EXCLUSIVE REMEDY. HITEC RCD USA, INC. SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INCIDENTAL OR
CONSEQUENTIAL DAMAGES FOR BREACH OF ANY EXPRESS OR IMPLIED WARRANTY RELATING TO THIS PRODUCT.
EXCEPT TO THE EXTENT PROHIBITED BY APPLICABLE LAW.

WARNING

– Before connecting devices to the ePowerBox 50 DC outputs, make sure the

voltage is set within the range of the device manufacturer’s recommendations.

1. Plug the ePowerBox 50A into an AC household outlet. Before attaching any devices check to

make sure the ePowerBox 50A powers on, once this is done, power it off in order to attach

devices.

2. The LCD display indicates the actual output voltage and load current. Use dial rotary dial to

adjust the output voltage.

3. Connect your devices to the DC outputs ensuring the connections are tightly connected and

not loose.

4. After connecting the other devices, turn the power switch ON to operate the power supply.

Turn the power supply OFF before connecting and disconnecting any devices.

5. When not in use, make sure to turn the ePowerBox 50A off.

POWER OUTPUT

To take full advantage of ePowerBox 50A’s full 1200-watt power capability, the output voltage

should be 24VDC or higher. The actual amount of output current fed to the load is limited to 1200

watts. The chart below shows the actual wattage and amperage available at each voltage setting.

WARNINGS AND ERROR MESSAGES

In the event of an operational error, the ePowerBox will display a message indicating the problem.

Your ePowerBox’s overload protection circuit automatically shuts down the power supply when it

is overloaded. To reset it, turn the power OFF then back ON. If OCP or OPP is displayed on the

screen, you must reduce the load before resuming use.
