Operation:

USE USB TRANSMITTER TO CONTROL POWER SAVE OUTLETS
Devices such as desktop PCs, laptops or LCD/LED TVs with USB ports are ideal for use as the main
device. Connect the USB Transmitter to the main device USB port. When you turn on the main device,
the USB Transmitter will sense the power in the USB port and wirelessly turn on the POWER SAVE
outlets on the Surge Protector. When you turn off the main device, the USB Transmitter will sense no
power in the USB port and wirelessly turn off the POWER SAVE outlets on the Surge Protector to
eliminate stand-by power wastage.
While the USB Transmitter is connected to the main device and the device is on, you can keep the
POWER SAVE outlets always on by pressing the button on the USB Transmitter for 3 seconds. By
doing so, the POWER SAVE outlets will remain on even after you turn off the main device or remove
the USB Transmitter from the main device.

Note: When the main device is turned off, the POWER SAVE outlets will turn off after 120~180
seconds. This is to avoid immediate power cut off of the device on POWER SAVE outlets while it is still
in operation, so there is still time to turn off peripheral devices before power is cut off. When the
POWER SAVE ON indicator light flashes, this indicates that the POWER SAVE outlets will be turned
off in about 120 seconds.

USE USB TRANSMITTER AS A STAND-ALONE WIRELESS REMOTE
When the USB Transmitter is not connected to the main device, it can still be used as a stand-alone
wireless remote to control the POWER SAVE outlets on the Surge Protector.
Simply press the button once on the USB Transmitter to turn on the power of the POWER SAVE
outlets. Press the button once to turn off the power of the POWER SAVE outlets.

SURGE PROTECTOR MANUAL ON/OFF AND LEARNING BUTTON
Note: This button serves as Manual and Learning functions.

Manual On/Off
If you have lost your USB Transmitter, you can still manually switch the POWER SAVE outlets on the
Surge Protector on/off.
1. Press the button once to switch on the POWER SAVE outlets. The POWER SAVE ON indicator

light will illuminate to indicate that the POWER SAVE outlets are switched on.

2. Press the button once to switch off the POWER SAVE outlets. The POWER SAVE ON indicator

light will go off to indicate that the POWER SAVE outlets are switched off.

LEARNING FUNCTION
The USB Transmitter and the Surge Protector in the kit are pre-paired and ready to use. If you
purchase another compatible Surge Protector, you can pair the existing USB Transmitter with the
newly purchased Surge Protector.
