Figure 2a and 2b:
Before installing the bolts holding the assembly together you should apply a small
amount of red loctite to the bolts and torque to manufacturer specification of 96 ft-lbs. At
this time you should re-assemble the suspension as it was removed from the car.
Optional DRM ducts for C5 cars should be installed per DRM’s instructions and the hose
supplied to connect the two. C6 and C6 Z06 cars will install the LG duct as a direct
replacement of the factory unit. Hose should be installed with wheel turned all the way
out for maximum length measurement. Rotate hose so that it will fold inwards, away
from the wheel. Secure hose with 1/8” rivets or hose clamps.
