When using the electrical appliances, please refer to the following directions:
1. Read all instructions.
2. Do not touch hot surfaces, and beware of steam which may escape from the appliance during the
baking operation.
3. Do not immerse cord, plug or appliance in water or other liquids.
4. Never touch the cooking plates with sharp or abrasive items, as this will cause damage to the
non-stick coating.
5. Close supervision is necessary when any appliance is used by children or used near children.
6. Never let the appliance operate unattended.
7. Do not use any unauthorized attachments with your tasty baker, they may be hazardous.
8. Unplug from outlet when not in use and before cleaning.
9. Do not cover your tasty baker whilst it is hot or in use.
10. Appliance should not be used if the power cord is damaged or dropped and caused visible damage.
11. Use of accessory attachments not recommended by the appliance manufacturer may cause injury.
12. Do not use outdoors.
13. Do not let cord hang over edge of table or worktop or touch hot surfaces.
14. Do not use appliance for other purpose.
15. If the power cord is damaged, it must be replaced by the manufacturer or its service agent or a
similar qualified person to avoid a hazard!
16. Do not place on or near a hot gas or electric burner, or in a heated oven.
17. A longer power supply cord or extension cords may be used if care is exercised in their use. If a long
extension cord is used, the marked electrical rating of the cord shall be at least as great as the electrical
rating of the appliance. The extension cord shall be a grounding 3-wire cord. The longer cord should be
arranged so that it will not drape over the countertop or tabletop where it can be pulled on by children or
tripped over unintentionally.

Before using your Tasty Baker
Before using your tasty baker for the first time, clean the appliance and plates as described in the ‘Cleaning’
section.
Slightly grease the cooking plates with a non-stick cooking spray, then heat the appliance with the lid
open for 5 minutes. Wipe away any surplus oil. Then pull the plug out- now the tasty baker is ready for use.
OPERATION
1. Please read all instructions before using this appliance.
2. Slightly grease the cooking plates with a non-stick cooking spray and close lid. Plug in the
tasty baker. The red indicator light will go on to show that the tasty baker is on.
3. Turn the dial to the appropriate temperature (1-4) to pre-heat baker to desired temperature.
4. Prepare batter for your choice of baking product.
5. The tasty baker is ready for use as soon as the green ready indicator goes on.
6. Open the tasty baker and pour your prepared batter ingredients in the lower cooking plates.
7. Close the lid - while cooking, the green ready indicator may switch on and off as an indication that
the heating elements are switched on and off to maintain the correct temperature.
8. Open the baker after several minutes and periodically to check for doneness (cooking time depends
on the type of baked product and your personal taste). Usually takes 1/3 of the package instructions.
9. Use a wooden, silicone or plastic utensil (e.g. a spatula) to remove the baked product from the tasty
baker. Do not use metal, sharp or abrasive kitchen utensils.
10. If you wish to make more batches of baked products, return to step 5. While not necessary after
every batch, return to step 2 if your product begins to stick.
