When you select one of the digital inputs as
described in the aforementioned section, the display

window will show which of the four digital inputs is

selected. At the same time, the right side of the

display window will initially show four dashes as

follows “----” which indicate that the 340i is in the
process of locking onto the external digital signal –

this may take several seconds. When the 340i

successfully locks onto the digital signal, the four
dashes will be replaced by the sampling rate of this

digital signal. When the signal cannot be locked

onto, “----” remains in the display window. The

optional digital-to-analog circuit option inside the

Nēo 340i is capable of processing the following
sampling rates: 32.0kHz, 44.1kHz, 48.0 kHz,

88.2kHz, 96 kHz, 176.4kHz and 192kHz.

Optional Phono Section

The Nēo 340i Integrated Amplifier features an

optional MC/MM phono section that may be installed
only by your MOON Authorized Dealer or at the

Simaudio factory. This phono card is a very high

quality design, providing adjustments for both

capacitance and resisitance loading, as well as gain
level. This flexibility allows you to optimize the 340i

for a wide variety of MC and MM cartridges.
