Open TurningPoint 2008.

Click Tools on the TurningPoint toolbar and select
ResponseWare.

The ResponseWare window opens.

Click Change.

In the Server URL field, enter
http://remotepoll.turningtechnologies.com.

Click Change to save the changes.

Enter your ResponseWare Username and Password.

Optionally, place a check in the box to remember your
login information.

NOTE

Participant Options are not applicable to
RemotePoll connection.

Optionally, enter a custom Session ID in the Reserved Session ID field. If a Session ID is not entered, TurningPoint
will randomly assign one.

NOTE

The custom Session ID is released upon disconnection.

Click Login.

If connecting for the first time, the Privacy Terms and Terms of Use
Agreement
window appears. Accept or Decline the terms.

The ResponseWare Session ID window opens.

Click Close.

Provide the Session ID to your remote locations.

Setting Up a Direct IP Connection in TurningPoint 2008

Open TurningPoint 2008.

Click Tools on the TurningPoint toolbar and select Settings.

Select Response Device from the left navigation pane.

Select All Settings at the bottom left of the Settings window.

Scroll to RemotePoll in the right navigation pane.

Change the Enable RemotePoll drop-down menu to True.

Enter the network port number in the RemotePoll Port field. The default port is 1025.

Click Done.
