Configuring IR or RF Receivers

Configuring IR or RF Receivers

Prior to polling, it is recommended to verify the channel of the receiver. For the receiver to communicate
with the ResponseCards, both the receiver and ResponseCards must be on the same frequency (channel).

How to configure IR or RF receivers...

Connect the device receiver to the USB port of the presentation computer.

Click Preferences on the Launchpad.

Select Response Devices from the left panel.

For RF receivers, the device's ID will be listed below ResponseCard Channels. To change the frequency
(channel), select the receiver's channel number from the drop-down menu to the right. For IR receivers,
verify that the receiver serial number is listed below the IR.

Close the Preferences window when finished.

Configuring ResponseWare

An active ResponseWare account is needed to complete the steps below. ResponseWare accounts can be
obtained by contacting a Turning Technologies representative. Please see Contact Us for contact
information.

How to configure ResponseWare...

Click Window and select ResponseWare from the TurningPoint AnyWhere menu bar.

Enter the Server Address. Default is www.rwpoll.com.

Enter Username and Password.

Placing a check mark in the box next to Save Information will save the account information.

Select Allow Guests or Require Login. Allowing guests will allow anyone with the Session ID to
connect, a Required Login will only allow those with and active ResponseWare account to connect.
