Connecting the TORPEDO VB-101
The TORPEDO VB-101 offers a solution for silent and quality sound pick-up in many situations. The
following illustrations show the most common situations the TORPEDO VB-101 has been created for.
1 In the studio
The TORPEDO VB-101 will find its place in the studio for analog or digital recording. We shall con-
centrate here on digital recording.

The TORPEDO VB-101 acts here as an analog-to-digital converter, clocked by a wordclock and
connected to a DAW with the AES/EBU connection.
The USB connection gives you instant control over all the parameters of the TORPEDO VB-101. It is
also useful for uploading firmware updates, for preset backups, and for loading new simulations. The
standalone Torpedo Remote software allows you to address all of those functions.
