TORPEDO Remote

You can add new cabinets or IR files to your TORPEDO VB-101 by using the standalone applica-

tion TORPEDO Remote for Windows™ and MAC OSX™. Download the software from the Two Notes

website:

http://www.two-notes.com

. Take control of the machine via USB, change the parameters,

arrange or add/delete cabinets and IR files, and apply updates. TORPEDO Remote will detect any

new update or new Two Notes cabinets (it requires a working Internet connection). With TORPEDO

Remote you will be able to:

• Control the TORPEDO VB-101 with a USB link,

• Update the TORPEDO VB-101’s firmware,

• Manage and upload new Two Notes TSR files or any third-party file,

• Manage, upload and download the presets.

The installation process of the TORPEDO Remote software creates two default folders where the

Impulses are stored:

• "Program Files\Two Notes Audio Engineering\Impulses" on Windows™.

• "/Library/Application Support/Two Notes Audio Engineering/Impulses" on MAC OSX™.

All the cabinet files must be stored inside that folder, without any subfolders. TORPEDO Remote will

automatically save the downloaded cabinets in that folder.

.tsr files

The .tsr files are the official Two Notes cabinet and microphone format. Two Notes will provide new

cabinets for free. The TORPEDO Remote software will request permission to download them and you

will just need to upload them into your TORPEDO VB-101.

A .tsr file contains information regarding a cabinet’s response with 8 microphones variously posi-

tioned in our controlled studio room.

If you ever need to move .tsr files, always keep in mind that TORPEDO

Remote will only fetch the files located in the default folder, without

sub-folders.
