PTY (Program Type) function
Selecting the PTY
1. In TUNER (RADIO) mode press the ½ button on the screen to choose PTY Mode
2. In PTY mode, press the desired program type directly to start search: News, Affairs, Info, Sport, Educate,
Drama, Culture, Science, Varied, Pop M, Rock M, Easy M.
3. When PTY is selected, the radio starts to search corresponding PTY information, and stops if the
corresponding PTY information is detected.
During 1 loop, if desired PTY is not found, NONE is flashed, then return to previous normal radio and PTY
word disappears.
After searching if no buttons are pressed during 3 seconds the PTY function turns off.
RDS clock
Some stations broadcast the time and date within the encoded RDS signal. The time is automatically adjusted
according the RDS one when CT is set to ON.
