How to Clean

1. Unplug the power cord from the wall outlet.

2. Allow the appliance to cool completely.

3. Wash the cooking surface with warm soapy water

using a sponge or soft cloth. Do not use abrasive
cleaners or scouring pads. Do not immerse the unit in
water.

4. Rinse and dry thoroughly.

HINTS AND TIPS

■ The Cupcake Maker has a non-stick surface for

even baking and easy clean–up. A small amount of oil
can be added to the unit for additional flavor, if
desired. Cooking spray is not recommended as it
may harm the not-stick surface.

NOTE: When using mini sized paper cups, it is not nec-
essary to brush vegetable oil or spray on the cooking
surface.
■ If the top of your cupcakes or muffins are light and

not brown in color, try adding a little more batter to
each cavity.

■ If the bottom of your cupcake or muffins are too light,

try pre-heating the unit longer.

■ Use smooth-edged plastic utensils when removing

food. DO NOT use sharp-edged cooking tools.
