CEL 202 DIGITAL DISPLAY UNIT
This self-contained accessory attaches to the base of the instrument and takes an input from the RMS log
output of the CEL-193. This signal is then digitized and fed to the liquid crystal display, it also has an
independent maximum hold arrangement in addition to its digital sound level meter functions. The CEL-
193/2 version has a range encoder fitted that supplies coded information to the CEL-202 in order that it can
automatically adjust its range to take account of the sound level meter attenuator setting such that it is no
longer necessary to add the attenuator and meter indications to give the measured level.

The CEL-193 used in conjunction with the CEL-202 will prove a valuable system to enforcement agencies,
etc. (who have to make measurements in respect of statutory regulations) because of the improved
resolution of the digital display.

13 Specification
