Ensure that gaskets (8351/6A72) are in place and remain flat when inlet
fitting is screwed into place.
After assembly check for leaks. Suction of 10cm H2O not to drop to less
than 8.5cm H2O in 15 seconds.
Damper. (Fig. 2).
Purpose of the damper is to smooth the pulsation's from the pump.
Diaphragms are fixed with fast setting adhesive, it is not possible to fit new
diaphragms in the event of failure.
If leak is suspected carry out suction test as specified above for primary
filter fitting. Replace complete damper if leakage is too great.
Battery Charger.
Parts have a long life, we do not recommend any replacement interval. If
wires or joints break inside the plug (CP604) on charger or inside the socket
(CS803) in charging lead (A8301/1) replace with new parts. Pins should not
be resoldered. On assembly solder wires to pins, then insert into mouldings
observing correct positions.
