Status
OFF If power is applied to the system, an internal fault with the DLC274D may exist
n Green Normal operation
n Yellow If no other status LEDs indicate a minor alarm, then a temperature alarm is indicated
n Red
If no other status LEDs indicate a major alarm, then an internal error is indicated, such
as an onboard communications error or an onboard power error

The DLC274D module is in local mode and its configuration is controlled by the
onboard configuration switches
n Green
The DLC274D module is in remote mode and the configuration has been set by the
EMS. When in remote mode, the actual configuration of the module will likely not
match the settings of the configuration switches and changing the configuration
switches will have no effect on the module operation

OFF Transmitter is disabled
n Green Normal operation (repeating input signal)
n Red SFP TX failure exists
 Red No SFP is installed

n Green Normal operation
n Yellow Link errors detected
 Yellow Receive optical power is high
n Red
No input signal or the input signal type is incorrect (not a valid DLC274M or
DLC274M signal)
 Red
Possible causes:
• A low receiver power condition exists
• No SFP is installed
• An SFP RX failure exists
