This chapter tells you how to
♦ add or remove product buttons.
♦ edit product descriptions.
♦ edit category buttons.
♦ edit category label formats.
♦ add or remove timers.
Note: Only for Managers and Supervisors can edit product data.
E n t e ri n g E d i t M o d e
You can make changes to the product buttons; on the printer through Admin Tools or on your
PC using the Edit Utility (see Chapter 5, “Using the Edit Utility”).
1. Press the Tools button.
2. Press Admin.
3. Enter the Admin password then press Enter. The default password is 1234.
4. Press Edit Product Data.
You return to the product
screen. The background
color of the screen changes
and “Edit Product Data”
appears at the bottom right of
the screen. After five
minutes of inactivity, you
must repeat steps 1 – 4. The
countdown is shown at the
bottom right of the screen.
