7. Operation
Do not use the ionic facial sauna for more than 20 minutes per day. It is recommended that two to
three treatments are performed per week.
After you have made the necessary preparations described in “Section 6. Initial use”, you may start
the treatment.
To start the treatment, carry out the following steps:
• Connect the mains plug to the socket and press the
ON/OFF button.
The indicator lamp illuminates green. The device
starts to heat the distilled water. After approximately
2 minutes, steam begins to flow from the nozzle. After
approximately 3-4 minutes, the steam is strong enough
and you can begin the treatment.
• Move your face slowly towards the flow of steam so
that the steam covers your entire face. The steam
should feel pleasant and not too hot. If you feel the
steam is too hot, move further away from the nozzle to
prevent burn injuries.
Warning
Ensure that your face does not get closer than 25 cm to
the nozzle. Otherwise there is a danger of your facial skin
becoming red or sustaining burn injuries.
When there is no longer any water in the device, the indicator lamp turns red.
• Now press the ON/OFF button and remove the mains cable from the socket.
• After the treatment, wash your face with cold water. Now apply a facial cream or face mask. The
open pores allow the active agents to penetrate deep into the skin.
• Allow the device to cool down for 10 minutes. Afterwards, clean the device as described in
Section “8. Cleaning”.
8. Cleaning
Prior to cleaning, make sure that the mains plug has been removed from the socket.
• After each use, empty and clean the water collection
container and remove any grease or other residue.
• After cleaning, replace the water collection container in
the device.
