• Do not use the device if you suffer from/exhibit heart disease, flushed skin, inflammations,

swelling, sensitive areas, diabetes, wounds, burns, eczema or psoriasis.

• If you are pregnant or suffer from health problems, please consult your doctor before using the

device.

• Children do not recognise the danger posed by electrical devices. Make sure that the device

cannot be used by children without supervision.

• Check that the device and the mains cable are in perfect working order before each usage. In

the event of damage, the device must not be used.

• Before connecting the device to the mains, check whether the local mains voltage corresponds

to the voltage specified on the device.

• Do not use the device near to water (e.g. bath, wash basin etc.).

• Do not use the device while bathing, showering or sleeping.

• Never place the device in water or other liquids. Store the device in a safe place.

• Never place the device on surfaces that are sensitive to water.

• Keep the device and mains cable away from hot surfaces.

• This device is not intended for use by people (including children) with restricted physical,

sensory or mental skills or a lack of experience and/or a lack of knowledge, unless they are

supervised by a person who has responsibility for their safety or they receive instructions from

this person on how to use the device.

Important safety notes – during use

• Should a fault occur during use, switch off the device immediately and remove the mains plug

from the socket.

• During the treatment, do not position your face closer than 25 cm to the nozzle, otherwise the

hot steam could cause burn injuries. Close your eyes during the treatment and protect heat­

sensitive zones.

• Do not use the device for periods of longer than 20 minutes.

• Under no circumstances may the cover flap be opened during use. You could sustain scald or

burn injuries.

• Never shake the device during use. You could sustain scald or burn injuries.

• If pain or discomfort occurs, terminate the treatment and consult your doctor.

• Never use the device under a blanket or towel etc.

• Remove jewellery from the face and neck before use.

Important: The device does not switch off automatically – even if the water has vaporised and

the container is completely empty.

• Should the device accidentally fall into water, disconnect the mains plug immediately. Have the

device checked by a qualified electrician before it is used again.

Important safety notes – after use

Important

• Switch off the device after use and remove the mains plug from the socket.

• Never remove the mains plug from the socket by pulling on the cable or with damp hands.

• Empty the water collection container after use. The device must be cleaned after use to prevent

the accumulation of grease and other residues. This ensures optimum effectiveness and

increases the service life of the device.

• Allow the device to cool down completely before using again.
