2.2 Configuring VMware through GUI and accessing Windows 2012 Server through
vShere client
Connect the NetVue Server to the network and configure the Client PC with IP address on the same
subnet as VMware Management IP address that was configured in Section 2.1. Enter the following URL
into the Client’s Internet Explorer browser:

The default ESXi web page redirects to vmware.com to download the vSphere Client software. If your
client PC is not connected to the Internet at this time, please connect it to the Internet to get the VMware-
viclient-all-5.1.0-786111.exe (latest release at the time of publication of this Guide).
