Maintenance

Important Notes:

• Power must be turned OFF before any repair or maintenance work is done on the display.
• Qualified service personnel are recommended for servicing internal electronic components.
• The Daktronics’ engineering staff must approve ANY changes made to the display. Before

altering the display, detailed drawings for proposed modifications must be submitted to
Daktronics’ engineering staff for evaluation and approval, or the warranty will be rendered null
and void.


Daktronics GalaxyPro

®

AF-3700 series 20 mm displays are front accessible, meaning that

access to the internal components is gained by removing the front modules of the display.
The display may need to be opened to perform maintenance or for troubleshooting. The
following diagrams (Figure 35, Figure 36,) show the location of internal components. On
larger displays, many internal components will remain in the lower left area of the display
and the thermostat will be located in the upper left corner of the bottom section. A second
power termination panel will be located in the upper section.
