3.4.1 Change configuration
Security
Under 'Security' you can enter a configuration password in order to limit access
to the router configuration.
Select a password so that no unauthorised persons can change the configura-
tion. Confirm it in the 'Repeat password' field. Should you ever forget your pass-
word, you will need to press the 'Factory Default' button on the back of the
router. However, this will also delete all of your configuration data. You can read
about how to secure your configuration data under Save configuration file.
b 'Universal Plug&Play (UPnP)': If access via Universal Plug&Play is permitted,
the configuration of the router can be changed by any computer on the net-
work.
This function is deactivated as standard.
Network settings
This is where you enter the IP address under which the router is to be available.
The standard setting is '192.168.0.253'. In addition enter the netmask (stan-
