tle. Use on 2006 to present Dyna or Softail EFI models and 2006 – 2007 Touring EFI models. Not
for use on cruise control models.
Use No. 29667-07 Screamin' Eagle Pro Hi-Flow intake Manifold for No.27639-0A, 58mm throttle
body (above). Note: See H-D dealer for details on mounting information.
Use No. 27623-05 Screamin' Eagle Pro 50mm throttle body/manifold for cable operated throttle.
STEP 16: Performance Air cleaner Kits. - Application Information for EFI engines or car-
burated models. These are use on Race applications only.
Use JIMS Air Cleaner Billet Backing Plate Kits with a built in breather system compatible with a stock
H-D outer air cover. See JIMS web site www.jimusa.com for more details or call 805-482-6913.
The other option is to see your local H-D dealer for a selection of Screamin Eagle air cleaner kits.
STEP 17: Recommended Carburetor & Settings:
JIMS recommends using the Screamin’ Eagle Super Bore 51mm CV carburator kit No. 27928-07A
also requires ordering seperately the Screamin’ Eagle manifold kit No.29414-07. If carburator tun-
ing is required order Screamin’ Eagle 51mm tuner kit No.27432-02. Order all seperately from a H-
D dealer.
If you are using one of these follow the instructions supplied by Harley-Davidson with the supplied
Screamin' Eagle ignition system for your model year motorcycle.
Screamin Eagle Ignition Settings: (SETTINGS ARE NOT FOR E.F.I
.SYSTEMS)
1999 - 2003 carburated only models:
• Set the "CS" Curve Selection Mode at "3"
• Set the "SA" Spark Advance to "+2"
• Set the "ES" Engine Speed to 6000 rpm Max.
2004 and 2006 carburated only models:
• Set calibration to: HMCD1340, HEX (32124-04.134) hmed
1340. See Fig. 11
• Select all and +2 across the board on both spark table maps.
• Rev limiter at 6000 rpm Max.
Note: The following carb settings only apply to the Screamin' Eagle "Super Bore 51mm CV Car-
burator Kit, H-D No. 27926-02. You will also need to order 2-JIMS No 1286-1400, H-D
No. 26993-06 intake mounting flanges. These items must be ordered separately.
