KNOWN ISSUES

-The programs Blue Box World and Candy Factory need to have more adaptations done in order
to work right with Bogart 4. If you use these products with Bogart 4, they won't respond
properly. To get around this, simply go into the Install Product menu and "Hide" the Bogart 4.
Then activate your Bogart 3.6 product. After the system reboots, you will be able to use these
add on programs normally. Simply make a "Scene" of the ones you want to keep and the go back
and re-activate Bogart 4. This issue is a priority for the developers and will hopefully get fixed
soon. If you need step-by-step guidance on this, please contact the support dept. through email
at: [email protected].

-Recordings with HDV footage via firewire may occasionally freeze or have stutters on playback.
We recommend turning the "Display HDV preview" off and monitoring your HDV recordings for
now. We hope to have these issues resolved as soon as we can.

-There have been some reports of using the Titling menu's "Range" button along with several
titles in the storyboard might cause a crash. This has been very random. We're currently looking
into it.

-Analog recordings on the S3000 and S6000 models have two things to be aware of. There is a
slight compression to the analog image or in some cases a green line at the very bottom of the
recorded clip. This is still being addressed. For now, analog users may wish to use a pass
through device (DV deck or AV/DV convertor) to send in analog footage through the firewire
connection. In addition, Analog recordings in some cases may randomly crash after stopping
and starting the record process or toggling between analog inputs in the Video Settings menu.
For now, please set the inputs once and then start the record process for the duration of the tape
and then stop before the tape runs out.

-Sometimes you may see a very brief distortion or tearing line or stutter in video playback in very
random spots. This should only be a display issue. This may be more common on playbacks
using the 1920x1080i display mode.

-When recording in via DV on these systems, the video seen in the Recording menu will be a just
preview of the information. So it will not be the same as what you will see in the scene bin. It
might appear to be a lower quality and have a stutter while monitoring. The recorded clip to the
scene bin should be fine. We're looking to see if this DV Recording preview can be improved any
in the future.

-When pausing a video clip's playback, the display will shift in a lower saturated color after a
second for the time the pause is held. In dual monitor mode, the second screen may go to a gray
screen during the pause.

-Progressive mode use will not allow for Twixtor renders. They will crash.

-During HDV Recordings with firewire, the preview display will take a couple of seconds to buffer
in order to start displaying. Once the recording starts, be aware that just during this preview
process, it will not have audio with it.

-When using the standard titler in HD, on a single HDMI or DVI monitor, the title preview menu is
in a 4:3 display on the 16:9 monitors. It goes back to the normal correct size in a Full Size
preview.

-Quadcam 1.3 could have random stutters in the preview screen on HD projects, especially if all
4-camera menus are used and the footage is longer than 40 minutes.
