ad indicator lights up during the charging procedu-

re.

Charging procedure

• Set the main switch to OFF.
• Disconnect the connecting cable from the Power

Pack.

• Insert the AC/DC adapter’s mains plug in the

mains socket.

• Insert the AC/DC adapter plug in the charging

socket of the Power Pack.

The AC/DC adapter is designed for 100-240 V

alternating current.
A completely discharged Power Pack is recharged

to 90% of its total capacity within 140 minutes. For

complete charging, and to balance significant self-

discharging differences of individual battery cells, it

is advisable - when possible - to leave the Power

Pack connected to the AC/DC adapter for 12

hours.
If, while charging, the temperature and the capacity

display are illuminated in addition to the normal

charging display, then this is an indication that the

battery is depleted. Charging will nevertheless conti-

nue. The temperature display can be turned off by

briefly disconnecting the mains plug.

It is normal for the Power Pack to become
warm while it is being charged.

4.1 Trickle charge (Fig. 3)

The Power Pack must be in a trickle charge state at

the latest two hours after the commencement of

charging, and the temperature must have dropped

to room temperature. The Power Pack can then

remain in trickle charge state for an unlimited peri-

od of time. Should the above two criteria not be ful-

filled, the Power Pack or the AC/DC adapter may

be defective

If charging is aborted when the battery tem-
perature exceeds 35°C, then charging can
only be resumed when the temperature has
dropped below this limit.

The Power Pack must only be charged with
the supplied AC/DC adapter!
