4. Connect the other end of the J2 cable to the end of
the Port Expander (maximum distance 300 feet).

5. Plug in the Port Expander’s 5V/24V DC power supply
to the DIN connector on the Port Expander, and to
the AC power source.
6. Turn on the Port Expander. This will provide power
to—and turn on—the radio.
