Energy-Saving Tips

Do not place your refrigerator next to a heating vent, a range or in direct
sunlight.

Keep the doors closed as much as possible, especially in hot, humid
weather.

Defrost the freezer compartment whenever frost becomes

inch thick.

Cover foods to reduce moisture buildup inside the refrigerator.

Water Connection

The ice maker in the freezer compartment must be connected to a continuous
water supply with a minimum pressure of 15 psig and a static pressure not to
exceed 80 psig. A cold water inlet of 1/4” soft copper tubing with a shut-off
valve is required. A 1/4” FPT (Female Pipe Thread) fitting will make the
connection to the short inlet tube at the back of the refrigerator. The
temperature of the water feeding into the ice maker should be between 41ºF
and 90ºF for proper operation.

In general, it is always a good idea to use a water filter. A water filter, if it is of
the proper type, can remove taste and odors as well as particles. Some water
