few days. Battery exhaustion in a
watch without second hand beco-
mes apparent only when the hands
completely stop moving.

Important: the exhausted bat-

tery should be changed as soon
as possible in order to avoid the
risk of electrolyte leaking at and
damaging the movement. Please
make sure that your Rado is
checked for water-resistance after
every battery change (see ‘Water-
resistance’).

Automatic watches

You are the source of free en-

ergy yourself, just by moving your
arm when wearing the watch. A
fully wound Rado automatic
watch has a power reserve of at
least 36 hours. If the watch stops
(i.e. if it has not been worn for
more than 36 hours) it must be
wound again with the crown in
position 0.

Accustar watches

You are the source of free en-

ergy yourself, just by moving your
arm when wearing the watch. A
fully wound Rado Accustar watch
has a power reserve of about 100
days. If the watch stops it must be
wound again with the crown in
position 0.
