3. If there is no indication of the DIDCSU in the shelf/slot map on

the NCM Main Menu, examine the SYS LED on the DIDCSU. If it
is blinking green-to-off, the DIDCSU is using a different shelf
midplane bus than the NCM.
NCMs are shipped with the C bus as the default bus. Other
modules are shipped with the A bus as a default.

To assign the DIDCSU to the same bus as the NCM proceed to
Step 4.

4. Temporarily connect the Craft cable to the

LOCAL

port on the

DIDCSU module. Press

ENTER

5. If the prompt pSH+> is displayed, type “craft” and press

ENTER

.

Be sure to use lowercase characters. If no pSH+> prompt is
displayed, go to Step 6.

6. At the YOUR PASSWORD? prompt, press E

NTER

. The DIDCSU

Main Menu is displayed.
