• As shown in Figure 48 , the VFW1000 interface GigabitEthernet 3/0 is mapped to the trunk port of
the vSwitch and bound to one physical port on the host machine. The VFW1000 interface
GigabitEthernet 3/0 can receive packets with any VLAN tags.

IMPORTANT:

You can only use the bridge method to map the VFW1000 interfaces to the physical ports of the
host machine. VLAN subinterfaces cannot be created on the mapped interface on the host
machine.
• To map the Virtio virtual NIC to a trunk port, the KVM virtual platform must support VHost.
