Feedback Device Scaling

Table 4.10

The installed feedback device requires the proper scaling. For proper installation of the feedback device, refer to Chapter 3. The
feedback scaling is determined by programming the feedback device scaling parameter P1-03.

To make setting up the feedback scaling easier, first select the actual system units desired for the iQpump drive to regulate. The system

units can be selected by programming the desired units in parameter P1-02.

Table 4.11

The feedback range can be specified with one single parameter: P1-03 Feedback Device Scaling. The maximum feedback value for the

iQpump is 3600 (PSI, GPM, etc.).

If the monitors seem more natural in terms of PSI, set P1-02 = 1.

If another engineered unit, such as WC (Inches of Water) or GPM (Gallons per Minute), is desired, set P1-02 to the appropriate value.

The setting programmed in the Feedback Device Scaling (P1-03) will determine the display at 100% and the position of the decimal
point.

Digit 5 Digit 4 Digit 3 Digit 2 Digit 1

Digits 1 through 4 set the desired number to be displayed at 100% PSI.

Digit 5 determines the number of decimal places.

If Digit 5 = 0 number format is XXXX
If Digit 5 = 1 number format is XXX.X
If Digit 5 = 2 number format is XX.XX
If Digit 5 = 3 number format is X.XXX

Example: If P1-02 = 1 (PSI) and P1-03 = 00145, then at 100% PSI, the digital operator would display 145 PSI for monitor U1-24 or

U1-38.
