♦ Fill the metal container 10 to a maximum of half full, so that the HEPA fi lter 13
always remains free.
♦ To avoid unnecessary soiling, always empty the metal container 10 outdoors.
♦ Clean the HEPA fi lter 13 if the suction power decreases or if the viewing
window of the blockage indicator 3 on the container lid 5 is red.
Cleaning and care
DANGER
► Before working on the appliance, disconnect the plug. There will be the risk
of a fatal electrical shock.
IMPORTANT
Penetrating moisture can lead to the appliance becoming damaged.
► In order to avoid irreparable damage to it, ensure that no moisture gets
inside when you are cleaning the appliance.
► Do not use aggressive or abrasive cleaning agents, as these can damage
the upper surfaces.
Cleaning the appliance
■ Clean the appliance after every use.
■ To avoid unnecessary soiling, always do the cleaning outdoors.
■ Remove the container lid 5 and empty the metal container 10 .
■ Clean the metal container 10 with water and then allow it to dry completely.
■ Clean the wire fi lter basket 14 and HEPA fi lter 13 (see Cleaning the wire fi lter
basket and HEPA fi lter).

NOTICE
► Replace the HEPA fi lter 13 if it is worn, damaged or heavily soiled.
■ Remove the container lid 5 .
■ Turn the wire fi lter basket 14 anti-clockwise and remove it. Tap the wire fi lter
basket 14 out.
■ Remove the HEPA fi lter 13 from the motor and tap it out. Clean the HEPA fi lter 13
with a brush or hand brush. Do NOT clean the HEPA fi lter 13 with water!
