Battery Safety Instructions

EXPLOSION HAZARD! Never recharge non-
rechargeable batteries, short-circuit and / or
open batteries. This can cause them to overheat,
burn or burst. Never throw batteries into fire or water. The
batteries may explode.
Switch the appliance to the “OFF” position
before inserting the battery.

Use only the battery type recommended for this appliance.

Insert the battery correctly into the battery compartment,
observing the correct polarity (+ and –).

Check battery regularly for signs of expiry.

If you disregard these instructions and advice, the battery
may discharge beyond its minimum voltage, thus increasing
the chance of leakage. If the battery leaks, remove it from
the device immediately to prevent the device from being
damaged!

Check regularly that the batteries are not leaking.
½
Leaked or damaged batteries can cause chemical
burns if they come into contact with the skin; in such
cases you must wear suitable protective gloves.
