Closing the shade
Close the shade in the event of incoming
wind, rain or snow.
1. If the shade has been tilted, push the
button b and arrange the shade can-
opy in a level position. Button b locks
into place (see Figure G).
2. Turn the crack counter clockwise until
the shade has closed completely (see
Figures J – K).
3. Apply a strap to provide protection
against wind gusts. To provide pro-
tection against bleaching, pull over a
protective sleeve (see Figure K).
Disassembling the shade
If you do not use the shade for a pro-
longed period of time – over winter or
during a trip – you should disassemble
the shade and store it in a safe place.
1. Turn the crank counterclockwise until
the shade has closed completely (see
Figure J).
2. Push button c and remove the shade
pole (see Figure L).
Care + Storage
– To clean the cover, it is best if you use
a soft brush and a small amount of
soapy solution.
– Clean the sun shade pole regularly in
order to ensure the mobile parts move
properly. If applicable, spray with sili-
con or Tefl on glide spray.
– Over winter, you should take down the
sun shade and store it in a dry, well-
ventilated area.
– Only store the shade in a completely
dry state.
Warranty
The warranty period for this product
amounts to 24 months.
If you identify a defect during this period,
please contact our sales department.
The warranty does not cover the follow-
ing:
– Normal wear and tear, changes to the
colour of the textile upholstery
– Damages to the varnish that are at-
tributed to normal wear and tear
– Damages due to improper use (e. g.
commercial use)
– Damages caused by wind, over-wind-
ing the crank, the shade tipping over,
pulling the shade braces too hard
– Damages due to structural changes to
the product.
