Mounting, switching on, malfunctions

Observe all of the instructions and warnings. Improper use or incorrect operation can lead to serious physical injury

(e.g. from electric shock or burning) and substantial material damage (e.g. from fire).

Storage and transport

Store and transport the lamp only in its original packaging. Protect packaged light from mechanical impact, moisture, frost and dust.

Comes with:

Lamp, Mounting material, Bulb(s) included!

Unpacking

Take all the parts of the lamp out of the box and remove the packaging material. Put all the parts of the lamp on a soft surface in

front of you, such as a carpet. Check the parts for any possible visible damage.

Mounting and electrical installation

The mounting and electrical installation must be carried out by a qualified electrician.

Switch off (or remove) the mains fuse before mounting and installing the light (see illus. p.2,A).

Make sure the power is not connected by using an appropriate electricity indicator.

1. Loosen the cap nut and tooth lock washer on the wall mount in an anticlockwise direction and remove the terminal box (see illus.

p.2,B1).

2. Decide where you want to position the lamp and drill two holes in the surface on which the light is to be mounted. Run the

connecting cable through the hole in the wall mount. Attach the wall mount with wall plugs and screws (see illus. p.2,B2-4).

3. Connect the power cable to the designated terminal block inside the lamp: L / N and earth wire (see illus. p.2,B5).

4. Connect the lamp body with the wall mount incl. washer and screw tightly together with the cap nuts and tooth lock washer in a

clockwise direction. Make sure the power cord does not get squashed or damaged (see illus. p.2,B6-7).

5. Screw the bulb into the holder (see illus. p.2,B8).

6. Secure the top cover, including seal, with the supplied screws (important: seal must be secured correctly at the top part of the

acrylic section) (see illus. p.2,B9-11).

7. Switch the fuse back on (see illus. p.2,C).

8. Setting the motion sensor! Using a screw driver to turn the control dial the following settings can be to adjusted: Light duration:

the length of time that the light remains switched on after activation can be adjusted from ca. 5 seconds completely to the left to ca.

5 min. completely to the right. Sensitivity: The control adjusts the sensitivity settings. With lower sensitivity the detection range is

reduced thereby avoiding unwanted triggering. Daylight level: the motion sensor will switch the light on if it detects movement when

the ambient brightness is less than the set level. The control adjusts the desired light setting between daylight and dusk. If the

brightness threshold is adjusted towards minus, then the motion sensor will only switch on with low ambient brightness. If the

threshold is adjusted towards plus, the motion sensor will already switch on in brighter ambient conditions.

Switching on

This lamp is fitted with a motion sensor. This switches the lamp on and off.

Disposal of packaging

Dispose of the packaging material, sorting it according to type.

Keep packaging and wrapping away from children. Danger of suffocation!

Damage and malfunctions

In the case of malfunction or damage to the lamp, disconnect it permanently from the domestic electrical installation. Do not use it

anymore. Repairs should be carried out only by a qualified electrician or at the service centre. Never attempt to repair the lamp

yourself.
