Assembly and Initial Use / Maintenance, Cleaning and Care
j Make sure that the rubber seal 12 completely
covers the hole, otherwise the water could leak
from the glass sphere

j Make sure that you have inserted the mist
generator
8 into mist generator holder 17
before you switch the tabletop mister on.
j Insert the attachment 10 with the pointed end
into the retainer 7 of the holder 6 .
j Place the mist generator 8 in the holder 6
and put this in the glass sphere 1 .
j Please ensure that the mains lead 2 does not
lie across the mist generator 8 , as then no mist
is generated. In this case pull a small amount of
the mains lead
2 through the rubber seal 12 .
Note: The position of the mist generator 8
affects the quantity of mist generated. The best
results are obtained if you position the mist
generator
8 as shown in Illustration A.
j Check whether the glass sphere 1 is posi-
tioned correctly on the glass sphere stand 4
(marking line 5 facing downwards).
j Adjust the angle of the opening of the glass
sphere
1 in order to prevent the water from
overflowing.
j Fill the glass sphere 1 with approx. 1600 ml of
water.
Note: Fill the glass sphere
1 up to the Max.
mark 11 only.
Note: The best result is obtained if the water
is just above the water level sensor

Note: The mist generator 8 switches off au-
tomatically if the water level falls below the water
level sensor
9 . In addition, a red LED light bulb
will light up on the water level sensor 9 when
the water level falls below the water level
sensor
9 .
Note: Do not use fragrance oil.
Q Initial Use
j Connect the connection plug 3 to the adapter
plug 14 and insert the mains adapter 13 into
a socket (230 V – 240 ~, 50 Hz).
Note: Please ensure that the mains adapter 13
is located outside of the mist that is generated.
j The mist generator 8 begins to generate a
fine spray of water which looks like smoke. The
LEDs
15 light up and automatically change
their colour.
j If the tabletop mister is only generating a little
or no mist, please add more water.
j If the tabletop mister is only generating water
spray or no mist will be produced, the water is
probably dirty. It should then be replaced (see
"Changing the Water").
j Turn the tabletop mister off by removing the
mains adapter
13 from the socket.
Q Maintenance, Cleaning and Care

work on the product.
Q Changing the Water
j Change the water at least once a week. This
prevents the formation of algae.
j Pour out the water and allow the tabletop mis-
ter to dry completely if you are not going to
use it for a prolonged period.
j Dirty water impairs / prevents the correct func-
tioning of the mist generator
8 . If the device is
only producing water spray or if the quantity of
mist is less than usual, replace the water in the
glass sphere
1 .
j Remove the mains adapter 13 from the socket.
Disconnect the connection plug 3 and adapter
plug 14 .
m CAUtION! It is essential to hold the glass
sphere 1 over a wash basin. Water might
drain / spill out of the glass sphere 1 .
j Remove the mist generator 8 and the holder 6
from the glass sphere 1 . Pull the rubber seal 12
out of the small hole in the glass sphere.
j Pour the water out and clean the glass sphere 1 .
j Reassemble the tabletop mister as described
under "Assembly and Initial Use".
