J  Always replace all batteries at the same time and only use the
same type of batteries.
J  Remove the batteries from the device if they have not been used
for a long period.

note: The device is supplied with batteries already inserted. Before
using your device for the first time, remove the insulation strip from
between the batteries and the battery compartment

j  Open the battery compartment 9 by sliding the battery compart-
ment cover 10 in the direction shown by the arrow.
j  Remove the battery compartment cover 10 .
j  Remove the insulation strip.
j  Close the battery compartment 9 by placing the battery compart-
ment cover 10 back in place and sliding it in the opposite direc-
tion to that shown by the arrow until you feel and hear it engage.

note: The device measures body fat and water content by means of
electrodes
