Auto Talk

If the handset is on the base when an incoming call arrives, the call can be accepted automatically by
removing the handset from the base. Press the  or  directional control buttons [4] to switch this
function on or off. To save the selected setting, press the right display button [3].

Recall

You can use the Recall button (

) of the directional control [4] during a call for switching to an internal

conversation or to forward the call when using the device with a PBX. The Recall button (

) will cause

a short, temporary line interruption. You’ll have to adjust the following settings only when you have
connected the telephone to a PBX. See also the User Manual for your PBX.

The following options are available:

Short

Off-hook cycle 100 ms

Long

Off-hook cycle 300 ms

To save the selected setting, press the right display button [3].

The Recall button (

) allows you to use specific services for external phone calls, e.g. “Call

Waiting”. The requirement for this is that your network provider supports this feature.

Prefix

Here you can save a number to be dialled before any external call. For example, you can enter 0 or 9
for an external line if you are using a PBX.

If no phone number has been saved, the only available menu option will be “New”. If a
phone number has been saved already, the items “On/Off”, “Show/Hide” and “Edit” will
be shown.

New

Here you can save the number to be dialled before any external call. Input the phone number via the
numeric buttons [6]. Press the right display button [3] to save it.
