Cleaning the air suction grill

WARNING - RISK OF FIRE!

Clean the ventilation grill 2 at regular intervals with a soft brush.

1) Press the two lugs on the air intake grille 2, which grip the body of the hair-

dryer to the right and left, lightly together. Simultaneously, pull the air intake
grille 2 out to the rear.

2) Clean the openings of the air intake grille 2 with a soft brush.

3) Replace the air intake grille 2 back onto the hair dryer, such that the lugs on

the air intake grille engage in the rails on the housing of the hairdryer. Slide
the air intake grille 2 to the front until it tangibly engages.

Storage

CAUTION - PROPERTY DAMAGE!

First pack and transport the hair dryer when it has completely cooled
down. Otherwise, it could damage other items.

Clean the hair dryer as described in the section “Cleaning”.

For storage purposes, you can hang the hairdryer up by the suspension
loop 3.

Store the hair dryer at a dustfree and dry location.

Troubleshooting

Should your hair dryer not function as expected, fi rst remove the plug from the
mains power socket and allow the appliance to cool down for a few minutes.
The appliance is fi tted with an overheating protector!

Should the appliance still not function, consult the service department detailed
under “Service”.

Disposal of the device

Do not dispose of this appliance in your normal domestic waste.

This product is subject to the provisions of European Directive
2002/96/EC.

Dispose of the appliance through an approved disposal centre or at your com-

munity waste facility.Pay heed to the currently applicable regulations. In case of
doubt, please contact your waste disposal centre.
