Keep lid closed when boiling water, otherwise the automatic switch-
off cannot work. Boiling water could then spray out over the rim.

Clods of hot steam may be released. The kettle also becomes
extremely hot during use. It is always best to wear oven mitts
when handling the kettle.

Ensure that the appliance is stable and vertical before switching
it on. Boiling water can cause an unstable kettle to fall over.

Do not open the lid while the water is boiling.

Appliances may be used by persons with reduced physical, sen-
sory or mental capabilities or lack of experience and/or knowl-
edge if they are supervised or have been instructed how to use
the appliance safely and have understood the potential risks.
