6. Plug the mains plug into a wall socket

that complies with the technical data.
Note:The appliance consumes up to
9 amperes of current (1800 watts). If
you have plugged other power

consumers into the same circuit, check
that the maximum load for the installed
fuse is not exceeded, as otherwise the
fuse will trip.

6. Cleaning

To ensure your appliance gives you lasting
service, you should clean it regularly.

Warning! To avoid the danger of
an electric shock or burning:
– Remove the mains plug before

each clean.

– Allow the appliance to cool

down.

– Never immerse the appliance in

water.

– Never allow water or cleaning

agent to run into the appliance.

6.1 Cleaning the appliance

1. Carefully remove major dust deposits in

the air outlet grille 7 with a vacuum
cleaner.

2. Remove any remaining dirt with a soft

brush.
Take care not to let any dust fall inside
the appliance.

3. Clean the outside of the appliance with

a damp cloth. You could also use a little
washing-up liquid.
Caution! Never use caustic or abrasive
cleaning agents, as they could damage
your appliance.

4. Wipe it off with clean water.
5. Do not use the device again until it is

fully dry.

6.2 Cleaning the dust filter

Warning! To avoid the risk of fire:
– Clean the dust filter 10 regularly.

A clogged dust filter could cause
a build up of heat.

– Never use the fan heater without

a dust filter, otherwise dust might
gather on the heating elements
and catch fire.

1. To remove the air inlet grille 9, press the

locks 8 downwards.

2. Remove the dust filter 10.
3. Clean the dust filter 10 and air inlet

grille 9 under running water.

4. Allow the dust filter 10 and air inlet

grille 9 to dry thoroughly.

5. Replace the dust filter 10 and air inlet

grille 9.
