Solving DM-2 Access Denied Errors within FanTestic


In order for FanTestic to discover the DM2 gauges connected to your PC, you must be running
Windows under an account with administrative privileges, and have a shortcut customized to
run in Administrative mode. The steps below will guide you through how to create a shortcut
on your desktop to FanTestic that allows the program to run with elevated privileges.



Step 1 - Update to latest version of FanTestic

a) Uninstall Current Version

a. Go to Control Panel | Add Remove Programs

b. Select ‘FanTestic’ and click ‘Uninstall/Change’
