2. Enter a name for your connection.
3. Select ‘Microsoft VPN Adapter’ as the device.
4. Click ‘Next’. You will see the following dialog box.
5. Enter the IP address or host name of the VPN server in the ‘Host name or IP Address’
field.
6. Click ‘Next’, then click ‘Finish’.
Setting up a VPN with Windows 2000
1. Click ‘Start’, point to ‘Settings’, ‘Network and Dial-up Connections’, and then
double-click ‘Make New Connection’.
Note: If you do not see ‘Microsoft VPN Adapter’ as an option, make sure the VPN adapter
is installed on your system.
