INSTRUCTIONS ON ENVIRONMENT PROTECTION

Do not dispose of this product in the usual household garbage at the end of its life cycle; hand it over

at a collection point for the recycling of electrical and electronic appliances.

The symbol on the

product, the instructions for use or the packing will inform about the methods for disposal.

The materials are recyclable as mentioned in its marking. By recycling, material recycling or other forms of re-

utilization of old appliances, you are making an important contribution to protect our environment.

Please inquire at the community administration for the authorized disposal location.

Before delivery our devices are subjected to rigorous quality control. If, despite all care, damage has occurred

during production or transportation, please return the device to your dealer

. In addition to statutory legal rights, the

purchaser has an option to claim under the terms of the following guarantee:

For the purchased device we provide 2 years guarantee, commencing from the day of sale. During this period we

will remedy all defects free of charge, which can be demonstrably attributed to material or manufacturing defects,

by repair or exchange.

Defects which arise due to improper handling of the device and malfunctions due to interventions and repairs by

third parties or the fitting of non-original parts, are not covered by this guarantee.

Clean the appliance as described in "Cleaning and Maintenance".

Rinse the measuring cup/butter container (4) and the transparent cover (5) manually

.

Never use abrasive cleaners or hard utensils.

This appliance is not intended for use by persons ( including children) with reduced physical, sensory or mental

capabilities, or lack of experience and knowledge, unless they have been given supervision or instruction

concerning use of the appliance by a person responsible for their safety

.

Children should be supervised to ensure that they do not play with the appliance

Never put your fingers into the appliance during operation or insert any objects into the appliance.

Do not place the appliance near net curtains or other inflammable materials.

Do not wind the

AC power cord around the appliance.

Do not connect the appliance to an outlet which operates another appliance with high power (W

att) at the same

time.

The appliance is not designed for continuous use. Do not operate the appliance longer than 5 minutes.

After

use leave the appliance to cool down for at least 10 minutes before resuming operation.

BEFORE FIRST USE

Remove all packaging materials.

Clean the appliance as described in "Cleaning and Maintenance".

TION

Fill the measuring cup/butter container (4) with corn.

Put the transparent cover (5) on top of the appliance.

Place a suf

ficiently large, heat-resistant receptacle below the release opening of the transparent cover (5) to

catch the ready-made popcorn.

Hang the measuring cup/butter container (4) filled with corn into the opening of the transparent cover (5) so that

it may be tilted around its own axis.

Lift the measuring cup/butter container (4) at its handle to pour the corn into the roasting pot (3).

Note:

Do not put any oil, butter or sugar into the appliance as this may damage the appliance.

Do not remove the measuring cup/butter container (4) while preparing popcorn.

Insert the plug into an appropriate socket.

oggle the On/Of

f switch (2) of the appliance to "1" position to switch on the appliance.

After about 3 minutes the corn starts to pop and the ready-made popcorn pops out.

Note:

For preparing butter popcorn you may melt some butter in the measuring cup/butter container (4) located

on top of the transparent cover (5) while making popcorn.

The heat released by the appliance melts the butter

.

Pour the melted butter over the ready-made popcorn in the receptacle. Never put any butter into the appliance.

After having prepared popcorn switch of

f the appliance and leave it to cool down. Remove any popcorn scraps

from the roasting pot (3) before resuming operation.

Clean the outer surfaces using a soft, damp cloth and a gentle cleaner

.

Clean the roasting pot (3) with a damp cloth before wiping it dry

.

Rinse the measuring cup/butter container (4) and the transparent cover (5) manually

.

Never use abrasive cleaners or hard utensils.
